Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Distribution Manager - Footwear & Accessories to join our dynamic sales team. This role will be responsible for driving profitable sales within assigned territories and growing distribution in line with our sales strategy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a keen eye for strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development: Manage accounts within assigned territories, develop new distribution channels, and achieve sales targets through effective relationship-building and negotiation.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and category awareness to create accurate forecasts and business plans that drive sales growth.
  • Account Management: Foster strong relationships with partners, provide product training, and ensure 'best-in-class' representation of the Barbour brand.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage sales orders, process payments, and maintain accurate records on NuORDER.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree-level qualification.
  • Experience: Proven track record in regional and area account management, managing brand distribution, and category segmentation.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills; ability to analyze numerical data and translate it into actionable insights.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • Benefits Package: Discretionary bonus scheme, staff discount, healthcare cash plan, and 25 days' holiday (increasing with length of service).
