Quilter is a leading financial services provider committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. With over £111 billion in customer investments, our business spans financial advice, investments, and wealth management.
We have two segments: Affluent and High Net Worth. Our Affluent segment encompasses financial planning, investment platforms, and multi-asset investment solutions. The High Net Worth segment includes discretionary fund management and financial planning.
At Quilter, we strive for excellence while continuously improving and adapting to changing market conditions.
About the Role
Level: Level 4
Department: Change
Location: Southampton | London
Contract type: Permanent
This role forms part of the Change team led by experienced directors. You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, project managers, and other change roles to deliver high-quality analysis artefacts and support successful change initiatives.
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst who can demonstrate the value of analysis through their contributions, bringing fresh ideas and driving continuous improvement within the Change team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for selecting the most appropriate methods for representing business requirements and delivering business outcomes.
You will perform requirements scoping, estimating analysis effort, and performing requirements elicitation, documentation, process analysis/design, and data analysis/design as needed. Working collaboratively on projects, you will manage your own work, being aware of risks and issues, escalating where necessary, and supporting resolution when required.
Throughout project delivery, you will focus on business outcomes, ensuring analysis work packages align with expected benefits, with full traceability, and supporting impact assessments of requested changes, escalating any deviations that may affect business case outcomes.
You will work with business stakeholders to analyse and shape new ideas into business models and business cases. This involves performing cost and benefit analysis, assisting with the creation of operating model pictures, option papers, and feasibility studies. Where applicable, you will support less-experienced analysts, providing guidance on deliverables, coaching, and mentoring.
You will be an active member of the business analyst community, sharing knowledge, ideas, and contributing to the continuous improvement of business analysis artefacts to enhance ways of working and analysis outputs.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates with experience using business, process, and data analysis techniques are encouraged to apply. Ideally, you possess hands-on experience across the change lifecycle, having worked on various projects. You should be able to manage varied and changing workloads effectively.
You will require strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage conflicts, alongside solid interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Additionally, you must demonstrate pro-active, delivery-oriented, focused on good customer outcomes, risk-conscious, and encouraging inclusivity and diversity behaviours.
Benefits
Quilter offers competitive salaries, ranging from £55,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
Average salary: £67,500.
