Autism Specialist

A Autism Assessor role has become available with Archer Resourcing Ltd. As an experienced professional in the field of Autism and ADHD assessments, you will have the opportunity to conduct diagnostic assessments for children referred for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). You will work in a fully remote capacity and be responsible for producing detailed, evidence-based reports with actionable recommendations tailored to each child's needs.
About the Role- You will conduct thorough diagnostic assessments using evidence-based tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
- You will utilise your knowledge of DSM-5 and other relevant diagnostic frameworks.
- You will prepare detailed, high-quality reports that include diagnostic conclusions and tailored recommendations for intervention and support.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with families to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- You will stay updated on best practices in neurodevelopmental assessments, particularly for Autism and ADHD.
- You will provide supervision and guidance to junior team members, where applicable.
The successful candidate must have active HCPC, NMC, or GMC registration, certification in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R, proficiency in the use of DSM-5 and other diagnostic tools relevant to Autism and ADHD, experience conducting neurodevelopmental assessments, and strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
