Job Title: Administrative Support Officer for Community Clinics

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Support Officer to join our team in Lancashire.

About the Job

In this role, you will work as part of a team providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of community-based diagnostic clinics. Key responsibilities include handling referrals, documentation, scheduling appointments, monitoring patient flow, data entry, and maintaining accurate records on the EMIS Patient Administration System.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To improve the quality of information provided to patients consistently.
  • To provide excellent customer service via telephone at all times.
  • To complete required training as needed.
  • To promptly respond to inquiries and adhere to policies and procedures while ensuring data quality standards.
  • To comprehend the importance of timely and accurate data collection in delivering patient care.
  • To perform general office tasks, including copying.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between £22,000 and £25,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in office administration.
  • Familiarity with computer software and IT systems.
  • Experience handling phone calls and resolving customer queries.
Education and Certification
  • GCSE/O level qualifications in English and mathematics, or equivalent training, and/or a healthcare-related qualification.
  • Covid-19 vaccination proof.
