Our team of experienced mental health professionals, including consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, work together to provide a comprehensive range of services.

We are seeking a part-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team on one of our acute wards, providing cross-cover to other wards as needed.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in our multi-disciplinary team, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert psychiatric care and guidance to patients and colleagues
  • Contributing to pre-admission assessments and developing treatment plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A CCST/CCT or equivalent in psychiatry
  • Experience working in inpatient settings with individuals with significant mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
