The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special needs school in Sunderland. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in nurturing creativity and supporting students in a dynamic sensory environment.
You'll be responsible for developing the following skills in students:
- Hand-eye coordination
- Speech and language skills
- Social and communication abilities
- Independence
- Cognitive processes
Additionally, you'll inspire students by engaging them in activities such as art, music, cooking, and physical education.

- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Pay: £25.57 per hour (based on £83.5 per day)
