**About the Role:**

As a Technical Operations Manager at ENGINEERINGUK, you will be responsible for leading our maintenance team and overseeing the maintenance of operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience with PLCs and PLC programs.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors to ensure the effective maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that maintenance activities align with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Repair and maintain Bus Systems such as Profibus and Asibus.
  • Mentor technicians to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships across the organization.
  • Prioritize and manage resources under high pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results.

**What You Need to Succeed:**

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3
Relevant experience in a technical leadership role
Relevant experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English
