We are delighted to partner with a reputable firm of solicitors to recruit a Legal Financial Administrator on a permanent basis.

The role will be based in the corporate head office in central Edinburgh and will involve working in a fast-paced environment. The team is highly supportive and works collaboratively with the rest of the organisation.

Job Description:

The Legal Financial Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the legal cash room. This includes managing client accounts, processing financial transactions, and maintaining strict anti-money laundering controls.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for the on-boarding of new clients, ensuring compliance paperwork is in place
  • Management of multiple client account reconciliations
  • Working closely with department heads and fee earners to control debtor balances
  • Raising invoices, processing fees, amendments of fees and credit notes
  • Maintaining strict anti-money laundering controls and ensuring necessary paperwork is stored in line with GDPR
  • Processing client banking transactions through our clients' banking portal

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience.
