Financial Administrator Job: Law Firm Financial Administrator

This is a key role within the finance team of a reputable law firm in Edinburgh. As a Law Firm Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records. If you have a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the on-boarding of new clients, ensuring compliance paperwork is in place.
  • Management of multiple client account reconciliations.
  • Working closely with department heads and fee earners to ensure debtor balances are controlled.
  • Raising invoices, processing fees, amendments of fees and credit notes.
  • Maintaining anti-money laundering controls and ensuring necessary paperwork is stored in line with GDPR.
  • Processing client banking transactions through our clients' banking portal.

Key Requirements:

A minimum salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this role. We are seeking an experienced legal cashier with at least 3 years of experience from within a legal firm (within the UK).
