We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
As a Surgical Ward Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe preparation of patients for day surgery and coordinate multiple surgical theatre lists.
Our Trust serves a population of over 600,000 and offers a range of services, including acute care, primary care, and community services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide and receive complex information, communicating sensitively and confidentially with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to effectively communicate while providing training to students.
- Work within the organisational policy, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.
- Undertake risk assessments and implement risk-reducing measures.
Person Specification
- 1st Level Registered Nurse (degree/diploma)
- Current NMC Registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development
