**Job Title:** Medical Director in Haematology
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as a Medical Director in Haematology.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Haematology department in a hospital based in Lancashire, working closely with clinicians and other stakeholders to provide high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in haematology medicine, holding a full GMC licence to practice and NHS experience as a Specialty Doctor/Consultant in Haematology.
The role involves leading a team of doctors and nurses, managing ward work, clinics, hot clinics, and dedicated admin time. The job plan includes core working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, with some flexibility available.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around **£85,000 - £110,000 per annum**, depending on experience and qualifications.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and make informed decisions.
