About The Clock Inn

We are a welcoming pub in Chideock, offering a unique experience to our guests. As an Apprentice Front of House, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
  • Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently to minimize wait times.
  • Provide menu information and recommendations to guests, showcasing your knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
  • Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff promptly to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene during food preparation and service.
  • Support catering events as required, executing all details flawlessly to exceed customer expectations.
  • Perform bartending duties when necessary, including mixing drinks and serving beverages.
  • Ensure the front-of-house area remains clean and organized, including dining tables, bar area, and waiting areas.
  • Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, striving to resolve any issues swiftly to ensure customer satisfaction.

What We Offer

A competitive hourly rate of £8.60-£11.44 per hour, commensurate with experience.

We offer part-time work opportunities, with estimated hours ranging from 10-20 per week.
