Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medicines optimisation tasks, such as checking inhaler techniques, supporting medication reviews, and conducting medicines reconciliation under appropriate clinical supervision.
  • Work with our multi-disciplinary team to implement efficient ordering and return processes, reducing medicine wastage.
  • Lead on the integration of Electronic Prescriptions and repeat prescribing systems, ensuring timely monitoring of high-risk medicines.
  • Provide training and support for safe handling of medicines, including implementing the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).

The successful candidate will be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), enrolled in or undertaking an approved training pathway such as the Primary Care Pharmacy Educational Pathway (PCPEP) or equivalent.
