About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Community Rehabilitation team in Bridport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work as part of a dynamic team providing high-quality care for patients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional approach, and a strong skill base to deliver effective physiotherapy interventions. They will be able to establish effective communication networks with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary colleagues.

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours working Monday to Friday, with the potential for rotational posts within the community rehab team once established.

A full driving license and access to a car are desired, and the ability to work towards seven-day working patterns is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • To communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and discharge procedures.
  • To maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records detailing all physiotherapy interventions.
  • To demonstrate rehabilitation and manual handling techniques to relatives and caregivers to ensure optimal patient care in the community.
Person Specification
  • Evidence of recent professional development and up-to-date knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Demonstrable experience in a comparable role, preferably in a community setting.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £41,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.

Location and Environment
