Job Description

This is a full-time permanent role that will be based at our office in Chorley along with working from home on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in partnership with the Account Director to create and implement local HSE strategies aligned with the overall departmental and group objectives.
  • Attend and actively contribute to senior management meetings, providing insights and updates on HSE matters relevant to the account.
  • Manage and support a team of HSE professionals, fostering a positive safety culture and ensuring the team is well-equipped to meet both operational and regulatory demands.
  • Set the level of local inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide HSE input and support in account bids and tenders, ensuring that all relevant safety standards are incorporated into proposals.
  • Deliver comprehensive HSE inductions for new starters and develop ongoing training programs to ensure all personnel are well-versed in safety procedures and protocols.
  • Oversee the training and development of the E20 system, ensuring it is tailored to support the specific requirements of the account.
  • Understand the specific health, safety, and environmental requirements of each client and implement processes and strategies to meet these expectations.
