Child Mental Health Care Specialist

CES Group - Clinical Employment Services is seeking an experienced Child Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people aged 0-18 years.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a deep understanding of mental health assessment, risk management, and care planning. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing intensive support to clients over a two-week period. Additionally, you will work closely with junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough mental health assessments of children and young people aged 0-18 years
- Develop and implement effective care plans, including safety planning and risk assessment
- Provide intensive support to clients over a two-week period, as required
- Support and guide junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in mental health nursing and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a patient and empathetic approach to working with clients. A flexible approach to working hours is also essential, as this role may involve working extended hours or non-traditional shifts.
Working HoursThis role offers flexible working hours, with the option to work either 12-hour days or traditional 9-to-5 hours from Monday to Friday.
Salary InformationWe are offering a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
