Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Manor Hospital in Oxford. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-house pharmacy services for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Assist with dispensing medications.
  • Carry out procurement, distribution, stock taking, and replenishment of pharmacy items to wards and departments.
  • Assist with clinical ward work and checking if trained in ACT and MM.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy service or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society.
  • Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Good IT skills, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation.
  • Accredited Checking Technician qualification desirable.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including holiday entitlement and access to our pension scheme, we also offer discounted gym membership at £15.00 per month.
