**Job Title:** Pharmacy Support Specialist

Location: NHS Hospital, Oxford

Estimated Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our team at an NHS hospital in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing essential pharmacy services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medication, ensuring all activities comply with NHS standards and regulations
  • Working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective pharmaceutical care to patients
  • Stock management and ensuring timely restocking of medications
  • Providing support to clinical staff with medication-related queries
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Participating in clinical audits and ensuring adherence to NHS protocols

Requirements:

  • Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a hospital or NHS setting (desirable)
  • GPhC Registration (or in the process of obtaining it)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
