About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Pharmacy Lead to join our team at Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for leading the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across all clinical departments.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience of working in a clinical setting as a pharmacist. You will be confident in making decisions and using your initiative, with a strong understanding of medicines management principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient care, with a focus on improving the quality of services and standards.
  • Provide leadership and advice on medicines management to ensure that processes across all clinical departments throughout the hospital are safe, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to implement medication safety alerts and drug recalls, ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Experience of working in a clinical setting as a pharmacist
  • Leadership and managerial experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Awareness and knowledge of oncology pharmacy
