About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a talented team of pharmacists and healthcare professionals who share a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative pharmacy services that improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. This will involve collaborating with clinicians, managers, and other stakeholders to identify and address gaps in care.

An important aspect of this role is working closely with the Best Value Medicines and Biologics Team to drive cost-saving initiatives in biologic medicines while ensuring patients receive the highest standards of care. The specialist will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, antimicrobial stewardship, and medicines safety and effectiveness programs.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in pharmacy practice, a Master's Degree (4-year MPharm or equivalent) in Pharmacy, and registration with the GPhC. Experience in leading teams and developing innovative pharmacy services is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £51,039 - £63,855 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
