This role is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have a strong organisational skillset and be able to multitask effectively.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager to ensure exceptional after-sales service for customers within a geographical area.
  • Record all customer calls and enquiries and manage them efficiently from receipt to invoice.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to manage their expectations and build robust relationships.
  • Oversee assigned customer accounts and deal with any queries or issues that arise.
  • Process and invoice jobs as well as raise credit notes when necessary.

About You



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Efficient and accurate with a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to take the initiative.
  • Aptitude to work without direct supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and multitask.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and database programmes.
  • A minimum of one year's experience of administration and reception work in a busy office environment.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C (including maths and English).
  • Ideal NVQ level 2 in Customer Service.

Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for career development and a positive work-life balance.


Location and Working Hours


The role is based in Hitchin, Herts and involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required. There may be occasional weekend on-call duties.
