Assistant Proposals Manager

Willmott Dixon is seeking a skilled Assistant Proposals Manager to support our London & East construction business in securing new projects within the region. This role is crucial in helping us achieve our business growth strategy and ensuring the win team continues to deliver high-quality proposals.

Our main office is located in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and we deliver projects across multiple sectors in north London, the northern home counties, and East Anglia. This will be a hybrid role, offering a great balance between office and remote work.

As an Assistant Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and coordinating proposals teams to produce winning submissions. You will support the submission of consistent, high-quality, engaging proposals that meet our customers' needs.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with research into suitable proposal opportunities.
  • Overseeing relevant portals and ensuring timely submissions in line with deadlines.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal teams regarding proposal content creation.
  • Coordinating timely responses for proposal content from relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with graphic design colleagues to present submissions effectively.
  • Supporting multiple projects and teams in producing quality bids.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
  • Understanding of proposal processes.
  • Strong written communication skills and/or degree qualification.

Desirable:

  • Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification or working towards it.
  • APMP membership and accreditation.
  • InDesign/Photoshop experience.
