Immunisation Service Lead - Covid-19 Vaccination Team

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals delivering Covid-19 vaccination services across Shropshire and beyond. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of vaccination programs, working closely with colleagues to achieve this goal.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of immunisers and administrators, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver a safe immunisation service.
  • Clinical Governance: Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Vaccination Program Development: Work with colleagues to develop and implement vaccination programs, ensuring they meet the needs of local populations.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed, ensuring the delivery of high-quality vaccination services.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure vaccination services meet regulatory standards.
