About Our Client:
Our client is a global packaging group seeking to appoint a Regional New Business Development Manager for their Southwest region. This role has been created to attract experienced professionals within the Packaging arena to identify, qualify, and secure key new business opportunities.
Key Objectives:
- SOURCE & DEVELOP NEW BUSINESS LEADS FOR THE REGION (£750k-£1MILLION PER ANNUM)
- DEVELOP EFFECTIVE SALES STRATEGIES TO ATTRACT NEW CUSTOMERS WITH HIGH PACKAGING SPEND
- Negotiate Pricing and Provide Product Knowledge to Customers
- RESEARCH MARKET TRENDS AND COMPETITOR ACTIVITY TO INFORM BUSINESS DECISIONS
- BUILD & MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS TO ENSURE REPEAT BUSINESS
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in growing an area from scratch.
- Excellent relationship builder with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to demonstrate successful history of securing new business and developing a region.
- Good commercial acumen and ability to negotiate effectively.
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
