New Business Development Opportunity

Cloud 9 Recruitment has partnered with a leading global packaging group to find a highly skilled Regional New Business Development Manager. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced sales professionals to join a well-established brand within the Packaging & Containers sector. As part of their growth strategy, this key position has been created to attract and secure new business opportunities in the Southwest region.

The ideal candidate will possess strong new business skills, excellent relationship-building abilities, and a proven track record of growing areas from scratch. Responsibilities

/li> Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities worth circa £750k-£1million per annum in the region./li> Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract key opportunities at potential new customers with a packaging spend of £200k upwards p.a./li> Generate a pipeline of suitable leads, arrange meetings, and discuss customer requirements providing full product knowledge and packaging solutions./li> Negotiate pricing with customers and ensure repeat and new business opportunities by building strong relationships/li> Research market trends and competitor activity to measure demand for possible new products and services, areas of growth, and new markets./li>/ul>,

Requirements

* Essential experience working within the packaging industry in a field sales position is required.
* Able to demonstrate creative, positive, and enthusiastic approach to new business development.
* Personable and excellent relationship builder.
* Ability to demonstrate successful history of securing new business and developing a region.
* Enthusiastic, confident, and driven in securing new business.
* Good commercial acumen and excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills./li> Excellent communication skills with confidence to converse on all levels.
/li> Results-driven and self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and ability to embrace new challenges.
/li> Strong IT skills and experience of working with a CRM platform are also essential.
/li> Full, clean UK Driving Licence is required.

Salary and Benefits

The Basic Salary on offer for this role is set at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. You will also enjoy a fantastic bonus structure, company car or car allowance, healthcare, contributory pension scheme, and 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
