Academic SEN Tutor Opportunity - Join Vetro Recruitment in supporting learners with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs. Our client school provides a unique learning environment that caters to the needs of pupils aged 2-19 years.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide support and guidance to pupils.
The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent overseas qualification, experience in covering subjects outside of their specialism and a fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service). They will also need to hold the right to work in the UK and have relevant experience in EYFS/KS1/KS2.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching in an SEN school in Southport for students aged 2-19 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs
- Covering subjects outside of your subject specialism
- Holding a fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service)
- Providing references covering the last two years
- Holding the Right to work in the UK
- Having EYFS/KS1/KS2 experience
- Term time only working

Our client school offers a competitive salary package for this position, with the estimated salary ranging from £25,000-£35,000 per annum.
