About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Firearms Licensing Team as a Firearms Enquiry Officer.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective control of firearms and ammunition to ensure public safety and compliance with legislation.

As a Firearms Enquiry Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking visits to applicants' premises to consider security and suitability, providing recommendations regarding risk, and working closely with police colleagues within the organization.

No experience of Firearms Licensing is required, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake visits to applicants' premises to consider security and suitability
  • Provide recommendations regarding risk
  • Work closely with police colleagues within the organization
  • Support the effective control of firearms and ammunition
