About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Retail Media team at dunnhumby. As a key member of our Technology organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our technology strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a deep understanding of our current technology landscape and its impact on stakeholders, ensuring we have models and materials that describe the media landscape at a high-level and how it supports the business.
  • Evolving and embedding our overall Technology Strategy, ensuring it informs everything we do, and defining a target enterprise architecture that will improve our business for customers and colleagues in line with our business and Technology strategy and plans.
  • Guiding high-level delivery planning and solution design to deliver our strategic goals, while ensuring we continuously deliver business value, and operating the architecture review, governance, and exception processes.
  • Supporting successful delivery through the technology lifecycle, delivering business value, and realizing strategic goals, and evolving our federated architecture and design framework as part of the Technology delivery model.
Requirements
  • Proven record of Technology delivery at enterprise scale.
  • Successful use of Enterprise Architecture to shape strategic priorities in Retail Media.
  • Solution Architecture experience on major programmes.
  • Creation, communication, and embedding of Technology strategy.
  • Leading solution architecture governance/assurance.
  • Hands-on engineering experience.
  • Experience of more advanced design patterns such as CQRS, eventual consistency.
  • A polyglot set of languages, frameworks, and technologies on which you can draw from your background of commercial experience with.
  • Deep Technology understanding across Software, Infrastructure, Security, and Data in Retail Media domain.
  • Architecture Modelling and Solution Shaping.
  • Technical Writing (Standards, Whitepapers & Cookbooks) & core technology development.
