**Teaching Assistant Opportunity**
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to fill the position of Teaching Assistant at our specialist provision in Cranborne, Dorset. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 16-25 with ASD and SEMH needs.
About the Job:
- You will assist teaching staff in delivering a comprehensive curriculum, promoting student engagement and motivation.
- Your responsibilities will include building rapport with students, prioritizing their needs, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
- You will work closely with students, either individually or in small groups, providing guidance and support to enhance their academic and personal development.
Key Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car are necessary for this role.
- Level 2 or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English are required.
- Experience or knowledge of working in an education setting is preferred.
- A creative and proactive approach to supporting students' needs is essential.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills, as well as proficient ICT skills, are necessary for success in this role.
Salary Estimate: £22,500 - £28,000 per annum, based on experience.
