Job Description

We are seeking a SEN teaching assistant to support pupils with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, collaborating with teachers to develop individualized plans, and providing emotional support and guidance to students.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with individualized plans to promote their educational and personal development.
  • Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes inclusivity and respect for all students.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement educational programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in teaching and learning support or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
