We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Teaching Assistant to join our team at one of our SEN Schools' Group in Effingham, Surrey.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a passion for working with children with special educational needs (SEN) to develop their skills and experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced teaching staff to provide individualised support to students with complex needs, including those with autism, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. As a Special Education Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing academic and pastoral support to students with SEN, including planning and delivering targeted interventions
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, implementation, and evaluation
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and involvement in meetings with parents and carers
  • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

You will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to the well-being and success of all students, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
