About the Role
NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering interventions within Mental Health Support Teams in and around schools and colleges, while receiving clinical supervision.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with schools and other agencies to provide a comprehensive service.
- Conduct assessments, risk assessments, and care plans to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for each child or young person.
- Provide leadership and promote initiative, creativity, and motivation within the Mental Health Support Team.
- Communicate complex patient-related information to facilitate positive outcomes and ensure collaborative working.

Person Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Practitioner who possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- Graduate qualification in a relevant field (nursing, social work, occupational therapy).
- Successful completion of a low-intensity EMHP/CWP qualification.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body (HCPC, NMC).
- Substantial experience in delivering low-intensity CBT treatments.
- Experience of initiating, organizing, and planning inter-agency meetings.
- Knowledge of risk management and ability to monitor and assess risk.
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to children and adolescents and safeguarding procedures and policies.
