About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in North East London. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience in delivering low-intensity CBT treatments and working with children and young people. You will be responsible for initiating, organising, and planning inter-agency meetings to set in place a treatment package tailored to the individual needs of each child or young person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Initiate, organise, and plan inter-agency meetings to set in place a treatment package tailored to the individual needs of each child or young person.
  • Assess risk and act accordingly to ensure safety, with knowledge of legislation in relation to children and adolescents and safeguarding procedures and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals and agencies to provide a comprehensive service to children and young people.
