About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in North East London. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality interventions to children and young people in educational settings, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Conduct assessments, risk assessments, and care plans to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for each child or young person.
  • Initiate referrals to other health professional specialist services and agencies as needed.
  • Provide expert emotional wellbeing and mental health support to children and young people, working towards transforming their mental health through the NHS Long-Term Plan.
  • Lead and promote initiative, creativity, and motivation within the MHST, ensuring a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based interventions, communicating complex patient-related information to facilitate positive outcomes and ensure collaborative working.
