Senior Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in North East London. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality interventions to children and young people in educational settings, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
- Provide expert emotional wellbeing and mental health support to children and young people, promoting positive outcomes and improving their mental health and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with NELFT's strategic objectives.
- Graduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, social work, occupational therapy) or equivalent experience.
- Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC, BPS, BABCP).
- Substantial experience in delivering low-intensity CBT treatments and working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel efficiently throughout the area and work flexibly as required.
