Amazon Data Services UK Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Facilities Manager to join our growing team.

As a key member of our infrastructure operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our world-class data center facilities.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day management of existing data centers, maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency and performance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations within our data center environments.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled engineers responsible for various aspects of data center operations.
  • Project Involvement: Contribute to the construction and launch of new data centers, ensuring seamless integration into our existing infrastructure.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes and procedures, enhancing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of services and support.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor data center operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Service Delivery: Implement robust service methodologies for incident, problem, change, and capacity management, ensuring high levels of service availability and reliability.
