About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Data Services UK Limited. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the remediation of issues found during our audit program, working closely with multi-functional regional teams in EMEA to mitigate and ultimately remediate risks from Amazon's Colocation Data Center providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to remediate data center infrastructure risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and ensure delivery of key milestones
  • Provide expert guidance on data center infrastructure and operations
  • Analyze complex data from multiple sources to form and present coherent strategies for our Global portfolio
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including SVPs
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Detailed understanding of Data Center technologies such as Power, Cooling and Controls systems
  • Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management, planning and reporting tools
  • Demonstrable experience in programme delivery of large cross functional programs, ideally within an infrastructure environment
  • Data Center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management background
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects
  • Experience of data center design, construction and fit out projects a plus
  • Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies
  • Experience of delivering projects across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa
  • Bachelor's degree; in an engineering or other relevant technical discipline
  • Formal certification or coursework in project management or equivalent
