We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Maths Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a qualified maths tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational support to students in a secondary school setting.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maths concepts and principles, as well as experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will need to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff, and utilise different teaching strategies to engage students and enhance learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver maths tutoring sessions to secondary level students
  • Create individualised learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Utilise different teaching strategies to engage students and enhance learning
Requirements
  • Experience teaching maths at the secondary level
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Bachelor's degree in maths or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25-£35 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer competitive rates and benefits packages to our registered candidates.
