About the Role

We are looking for an experienced academic tutor to work with secondary school-aged children in Bracknell. As an Academic Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering one-to-one lessons in core subjects or life skills, using a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is essential for this role, and we encourage applications from qualified teachers, higher-level teaching assistants, and SEN specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to individual students' needs
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting lesson plans accordingly

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
  • Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one
