Controller Position

The Controller Position is a critical role within Austin Fraser's finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our financial controls, funding, and improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Control: Support the delivery of our financial controls, funding, and improvement projects.
- Team Leadership: Supervise the delivery of operational activities within the Accounting Team.
- Team Management: Manage a team of 4 accounting professionals.
- Financial Reconciliations: Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
- Cost Analysis: Work with Business Partnering on cost analysis and queries.
- Process Improvements: Support process improvements and represent Finance on projects within the wider business.
- Reporting Requirements: Support the Reporting Team with annual audit and other reporting requirements.
- Financial Controls: Support an effective financial control environment within the wider business.
- Accounting Qualification: Part Qualified/Finalist Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience.
- Teamwork: Experience of working with a team to deliver daily operational efficiency.
- IT Skills: Strong IT skills, including substantial Excel usage.
- Reconciliation Expertise: Experienced in bank reconciliation and some knowledge of sales/purchase ledger activity.
