Access Control Specialist

- Operate a computerised weighbridge system to accurately record weights and measurements.
- Maintain site security and safety by monitoring CCTV and intruder alarm systems, and responding promptly to any incidents.
- Manage access control and gate duties, including staff and vehicle searches, traffic management, and car park duties.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including handling phone calls and emails, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with switchboard and reception duties, including answering phones, taking messages, and directing calls.
- Monitor site fire alarm systems and respond promptly to any alarms.
- Perform general administration tasks, including data entry, filing, and other administrative duties as required.
- Good IT skills and experience with computerised systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- A flexible and responsive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current full driving licence and willingness to work shifts after training.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
