Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at the new Silverstone Facility. As a key member of the Andretti Cadillac Team, you will be responsible for the car control systems and their supporting systems at trackside events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of vehicle control system calibrations for trackside events.
- Monitoring the control systems at trackside events ensuring reliable operation.
- Working closely with Race and Performance Engineers to optimise control system performance.
- Ensuring that all control systems operations fully comply with the FIA technical regulations.
- Resolution of control system faults.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in an engineering subject.
- Experience with the management and calibration of vehicle control systems.
- Experience with model-based software design in a Matlab Simulink environment.
- Experience with motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU and associated tools.
- Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing technologies.
- Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
- Is self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
- Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
