About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Grid Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering large-scale green energy projects. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe project delivery, managing grid connection and HV workstreams, and driving grid compliance to meet operational milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing electrical and control system interfaces between National Grid, balance of plant contractors, and supply contracts.
  • Supervising installation works, system testing, and commissioning.
  • Supporting the development of future projects and assisting with technical due diligence.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with HV, ideally 132kV and 275kV.
  • Experience in contractor management.
  • Renewable energy experience is an advantage.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, up to £80,000 per annum, 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays, a 6% pension contribution, bonus up to 20%, health insurance, and death in service at three times salary.
