About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Control and Maintenance Specialist to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of high voltage equipment, managing CHP maintenance and uptime, and owning, operating, and maintaining HV and LV main distribution systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and control/instrumentation systems, as well as experience in working with pneumatic systems. They should also be able to interact at all levels, carry out presentations to senior management, and possess basic knowledge of air conditioning and humidification control systems.

Salary:

The salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance and switching of high voltage equipment

• Produce HV/LV switching plans

• Ensure that both HV and LV systems are maintained without interrupting manufacturing activities

• Own, operate, and maintain HV and LV main distribution systems

• Manage CHP maintenance and uptime

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have a degree-level education in an electrical and/or controls discipline, and possess a certificate in safety systems (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH). You should also have experience within a facilities management or building services environment and be familiar with current electrical regulations.
