We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Publication Specialist to join our team at Elsevier, a global leader in information and analytics. As a Scientific Publication Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting researchers in scholarly publication and advancing science.

About the Role:

In this exciting position, you will work closely with authors to help them improve their manuscripts and increase their odds of success in getting published in top scientific journals. You will also evaluate content as a partner to external editors, ensuring that manuscripts meet the high standards of our portfolio of 2700+ hybrid and open access scientific journals.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Health and Medical Sciences or Social Sciences (especially Economics)
  • Maintain a record of having published papers in scientific journals
  • Stay technology savvy, familiar with online platforms, social media, and digital content
  • Exhibit good communication skills and excellent written and spoken English
  • Show broad scientific interest and a desire to serve and help customers in the scientific and clinical community
