Pension Risk Transfer Specialist

The Actuary Group is seeking a highly skilled Pension Risk Transfer Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Transfer team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated actuarial solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement actuarial models to analyze complex pension schemes and provide recommendations for risk transfer.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their risk management needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct actuarial analysis, including complex calculations and research on market trends.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate complex ideas and advice to clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified to senior actuary level.
- Experience working with DB pension schemes, either at a consultancy or an insurer.
- Strong technical actuarial fundamentals and business acumen.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think laterally.
- Strong client focus, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
