About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pensions Risk Transfer Expert to join our team at BCT Resourcing as an Associate Director within our Pension Risk Transfer team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable and well-established pensions consultancy, advising on and implementing risk reduction strategies for some of the largest DB pension schemes in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on buy-ins and buyouts, longevity swaps, superfunds, and third-party capital transactions, considering how these solutions fit with the schemes' journey plans.
  • Run the provider selection process, including bidding rounds, commercial negotiations, and beauty parades.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.

Requirements

  • FIA qualified with post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in pensions risk transfer activities from within consultancy or BPA providers.
  • Proven delegation skills and a desire to coach and mentor more junior pensions actuaries.
