Pension Risk Transfer Associate Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Risk Transfer Associate Director to join our team at Oliver James Associates Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable pensions consultancy, advising on and implementing risk reduction strategies for some of the largest DB pension schemes in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pension risk transfer strategies for clients
  • Work closely with clients to understand their pension scheme requirements and goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide expert advice on pension risk management
  • Conduct thorough analysis of pension scheme data to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate complex pension risk management concepts to clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • FIA qualified with post-qual experience
  • Experience in pensions risk transfer activities from within consultancy or BPA providers
  • Proven delegation skills and a desire to coach and mentor more junior pensions actuaries
