Pension Risk Transfer Associate Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Risk Transfer Associate Director to join our team at Oliver James Associates Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable pensions consultancy, advising on and implementing risk reduction strategies for some of the largest DB pension schemes in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on buy-ins and buyouts, longevity swaps, superfunds, and third-party capital transactions
  • Consider how these solutions fit with the schemes' journey plans
  • Run the provider selection process, including bidding rounds, commercial negotiations, and beauty parades
Requirements:
  • FIA qualified with post-qual experience
  • Experience in pensions risk transfer activities from within consultancy or BPA providers
  • Proven delegation skills and a desire to coach and mentor more junior pensions actuaries

This is a national resourcing approach, allowing you to be based from any of our UK locations, while working on client teams from other offices. We offer a flexible working pattern to suit individual requirements.
