Job Summary:

Employment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their team. As a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing expert advice on commercial insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Insurance Placement: Place multi-class programmes of insurance for a portfolio of clients, ensuring the adequacy and appropriateness of cover.
  • Policy Administration: Check the accuracy of policy documentation and resolve client enquiries in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
  • Renewal Broking: Undertake renewal broking exercises, including updating risk information, negotiating with insurers, and liaising with the Account Executive.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise across a broad range of commercial insurance business, including occasional client visits in support of the Account Executive.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Insurance Experience: Good all-round commercial insurance experience with technical knowledge across a range of classes of business.
  • Client and Insurer Relationships: A desire to develop strong client and insurer relationships.
  • Negotiation Skills: Well-developed negotiation skills.
  • Teamwork: The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills.
